I would need to reread to check but I'm pretty sure Anya can only read surface-level thoughts and Damian never gives himself away in those because he is in heavy denial.

I'll give it a full school year with the current pace of the manga. We still have a lot of stuff to go thru in between anyway.

Maybe. I'd rather the main series have somewhat more peaceful years in between arcs, which is unlikely if the main plot is the scion saga with Damien. Anya will be as overpowered as her parents by the time she's a teenager if the Forger family or her status as a WISE asset continues, and if she learns to fill in her weaknesses. Too much of a timeskip would feel unearned.
