@FloatyBee thats why the mc is hesitant in the first place, he knew that he could exploit this regressor skill to get a skill from the 99th floor, even if its a trap or something, as long as he dies to a being in that floor, there's a chance to get a floor 99 lvl of skill while on the other hand he wants to stick to his moral and conscience.

Also, I wouldn't be surprised if someone takes the demon king reward, just so they know whether or not someone has it. The thing is, it's not first come first serve, it says if multiple people take it, it'll choose a random person among them. So, if someone chooses it and doesn't get it, it means that someone else chose it and got it.

Demon king's reward is a non choice. He can't possibly kill all of them at once on the spot, or survive on the 99th floor.

Frankly if he takes the demon kings award he'd be no better that the Flame emperor.

They could also just use the lie detector skill and ask everyone if they chose the demon king reward, they don't really have a reason to not say whether they took it. Only problem is if the paladin takes it, or if the person who lies accuses the paladin of lying.

@hermitboi you have a fair point. Like what's he going to do at floor 99? Die a million times till he's at a good level? That'll just be time consuming and stressful but I'd still like to see that tho 😄

He would probably pick the demon king's choice just to get killed to copy the skills, once he's stolen from each, he will pick the other choice.

i think theres a way to not make the top 10 dead and acsend to floor 99 (i cant say kill cause it does include them getting killed)it includes killing all the heros going to floor 99, basicly gaining access to it, then dying, coming back 24 hours, picking the goddess reward and receiving both the goddess reward and demon king award with no drawbacks and all the heroes are alive and u have access to floor 99. the things that may get in the way are the timer, like the one when he had to wait 24 hours to ascend to floor 11 (which means he will come back to the time when they were already dead but he could kill himself again)also the demon king reward might reset cause the heroes are actually alive

So the Deal Sounds really good so to the cons and plus

+could get a op skill on floor 99

But

-needs to kill 9-10(didn’t count them now) hero’s(guess it mend all of the people with him now) doesn’t look good I think 1v9-10 is a bit much but still could be possible
-maybe on floor 99 a monster with a skill that deactivates skills exist
-going back to the place with the discussion would end bad because now he would have killed not one bad person but 10 “bystanders” who he made a deal with

Does he even have any skill slots left or was there a way to delete a current skill in a slot?🧐
Wait how bad would the penalty be if he dies at floor 99 or of one of the heros🤔

He could kill all the top 10 heroes and kill himself afterwards, resetting his time back 24 hours from his death and (could?) avoid the deaths of the heroes, And get the award from the demon king. Seems plausible to me

He can go proper angel route first, acquire Gramps teachings and other skills, and then do a bunch of resets to come back to this choice to choose the demon king option. At this point he’d be able to kill all of them. I think that this is what may end up happening unless the author chooses to just use this moment to prove MC’s morale compass.
