I mentioned something about this a few chapters ago on here. Pay attention to K.D's eyes whenever hes in a fight or talking with soemone. In this chapter we see his eyes go red and nearly filled as his "Pupil" is purely white instead of the usual black. His iris is black instead of being white. When they go red, its as if life comes back into his eyes when hes fighting. As thats basically his reason for living. fighting for others, and that is enough for him. We see Heavenly demons eyes shine from being a solid matte blackish/grey in her final hours. Thats bc she was able to fight again, fight to the death and end this war. Even after that they shone once again when shes fighting against uhhh O.O ghost man.. I forgot his name lol even his alias
