Guys, I think you were misunderstanding the MC last chapter. He wasn’t scared of death, but instead the ramifications of meeting the sword saint again and becoming known as a heinous criminal due to his supposed telepathy that turned out to be the sword emperor’s spirit. Though, MC can just kill himself until before it was an issue so idk... probably wasn’t thinking that far ahead lol
