It wasn't about the toy, it was about the fact he got the toy with the claw but it let go of the toy. At that point it's a blatant scam, and an insult to any customers using it.

Scammers should never get rewarded, and thus I believe he's justified in getting upset over the crane game being rigged. It would be one thing if he just missed the stuffed toy, but he didn't.

No but that's like, the central conceit of crane games. You don't just pick the toy up and drop it into the chute, you either take several tries to roll the toy towards the chute, or roll a toy into a position where where the claws can get a supremely good hold on the toy. In the chapter, he barely has that bear by the top of its head. Absolute rookie mistake.

You don't just pick the toy up and drop it into the chute, you either take several tries to roll the toy towards the chute, or roll a toy into a position where where the claws can get a supremely good hold on the toy. In the chapter, he barely has that bear by the top of its head. Absolute rookie mistake.

Eh I suppose so, but I feel like that's pretty stupid and crane games should be designed differently, because that design makes it to where you need to spend a ton of money to MAYBE get the toy, even if you manage to grab it like 3-5 times. And that seems like the very definition of a scam.

Not to mention the fact that the claw is deliberately designed to be as trash as possible, to where you can barely even touch the toy half the time

While I'm a fan of crane games I am not here to defend them, my point was that losing at a game and turning into a Karen isn't exactly good hotboi behavior.
