from what I remember of the start the heavenly star artist are weak until the 7th then are equal to the fire and dragon ones and start exceeding them at the 8 level and higher so he is about to start getting more broken strong than before

@MiiaBestWaifu as far as i know we have never seen anybody above the 9th realm, the Ghost Lady is very likely to be much stronger than a 9th realm dude tho
so yeah, 8th is very good, especially considering our dear MC is usually stronger than normal people of the same rank

@Syanalassa 8th realm is excedingly powerful. it's just that this author seems to spam high-level enemies like there's no tomorrow. As if reaching the realm of gods wasn't anything special. Moreover the MC is not only at the 8th realm he commands multiple divine treasures, of which most of them are extremely rare and powerful. I wouldn't be surprised if he managed to win against a 9th realm in his current state, especially because it was already said that normally people would only ever use one of those treasures and die if they attempted to use too many of them. The MC not only used the Frost halberd he's also using an almost complete armor set all of which are at the highest rarity level.
Anyways, yes the amount of high level enemies is absolutely surreal and makes no sense. I don't understand why they have never overtook the gods if they can train so many people capable of remodeling the geography with sheer might.

@BloodySorcerer ah sorry I wasnt very clear I meant weak compared to the other styles
and yea it seems weird that there are all these 7th and 8th artists floating around when 9th is suppose to be god tier to them and it seems like an exponetional scale like he should have wreacked the army with out help but lets see where this goes since I want to see the ice lady again since she was implied to be higher than the 9th realm

here the students and teacher make it sound like the 9th realm is very common, even saying that not reaching the 9th means you are trash

From what we are learning in the latest chapters, the 9th realm isn't really that strong considering that
1) our MC is already at the 8th realm
2) the general at the 9th and the wolfs were pretty much non-existent during the Azure Feather family assault (it was a pretty shitty fight altogether tbh)
3) Lin Hong has been at the 9th realm for a while and he still has somebody above him
4) Best girl's dad has more than 12 experts at the 9th under him and they are still pretty much fighting a lost war
5) the disciple of the Divine Swordsman was at the peak of the 8th realm, so it's pretty fair to assume that his master is at the peak of the 9th or even above
6) the patriarch of the Dark Moon Family was at the 8th realm and the DMF is only a subsidiary family
7) the elder of the DMF was talking about breaking throught to the 9th, meaning he's most likely at the peak of the 8th
8) a general of the 9th from the empire got easily captured and killed by Lin Hong's subordinates
