There is like 0 possible chance that the MC of a wuxia wish-fulfillment manga would kill off a cute potential waifu. He probably just slammed it into the ground by her head as the chad version of the usual wall slam confession and now she's going to realize how incredibly amazingly perfectly wondrous he is, and Yuning will gain another competitor.

@Azerick The things you say are true but I just can't think of a story like this where the MC would straight up murder people. I think it's far liklier that he's just "teaching her a lesson" and she's going to be so smitten afterward she won't be able to fight him anymore and will end up proving useful to the MC in some fashion.

but then taking look back to where she come from, a high-societal ranks haughty clan with their member just keep chasing yuning and another empress, he also has a reasonable reason as why he want her dead. author doesn't state on does that fall made her recovery rate halt or not so when she already recovered enough she probs gonna continue to search MC with her clan.

Nah, I doubt he kills her. There are so many people he could have and should have killed, but didn't. This would be a complete character reversal if he did actually kill her. Not that I would have a problem with it, but it wouldn't fit with the character that has been written so far.

I don't know. She is an old hag and the MC just murdered a couple mooks with that spirit nuke. Plus, his reaction to her still being alive indicates he totally expected her to get killed by the fall or at the very least would have been okay with that outcome.

Ehhh, he's most likely not going to kill her. In a fight, sure, but killing an opponent that's down and begging for mercy, I don't think this main character is that kind of main character. There are manhua like that, but I don't think this one is.

There's a greater than even chance that leaving her alive will bite him in the ass.

I also don't think she's going to be a love interest. It would not fit the manhua I think. Also, she's quite a bit older and she does not seem to be the type to ever care about someone else.
