To forestall this mess: Xianxia, the genre of this story, is FULL of rape.
Women are raped constantly. They're barely treated as human most of the time, usually only by the main character. Either a woman is stronger than everyone else in the area and thus safe, or a man comes along at her level of power and is always somehow stronger than her, beats her down and takes her. To that note, even the main character of a story can be a rapey bastard, using rape to show dominance, superiority, to break the strong-willed, to attack a man for revenge by raping his wife, to 'punish' a female rival or even companion. The threat of it is even far more common, like breathing. This is because Chinese society is backwards as all hell and women are viewed as NATURALLY inferior in all respects, and any woman with a position not 'fitting' for her is overreaching her station and thus a target to be mocked or abused. They also seem to not believe bisexuals or lesbians exist, and wish death to any gay male - which are all expressed more heavily and openly in their fiction-writing, to the point of appearing in practically the majority of the genre.
If you go to wuxia/xianxia communities and complain about it, or how ridiculous it is, you will be attacked by raving incels, downvoted into oblivion, and generally mocked by everyone.
So, can we at least STOP focusing on the fact Xueyun did this to the MC like it's the most unbelievable thing ever? He's not even bothered. He does not care. From the look of him he wishes he'd been awake for it but since he wasn't, 'oh-well, maybe next time.' It didn't even change him - yet the victims in most xianxia become 'good women' after being raped, traumatized into subservient obedience and silence.

I should mention that I completely forgot about the rape bit and thought you were talking about the sword clan chick at first.
Even now I only vaguely remember something about it but I have no idea when it happened. (probably because it was very abrupt)
All I can remember is Xueyun acting shy and turning away from the mc for little to no reason, which is why I said it was awkward and felt forced.

No shit it's bad, are you a fool? Did you not read my post? I was the person complaining about it in multiple xianxia communities and getting slammed for doing so. Trying to treat me as the villain is not only useless, it's disingenuous and makes you look foolish.
I'm saying this because when it happened the comments exploded into a shit sandwich of knuckle-dragging rage and stupidity and endless fights. I'm trying to add a bit of context so maybe people can see the issue a bit more clearly. If you want that, then by all means, go ahead, and you'll have to bear with it.

I always forget Xueyun is even in this story. I'd be ok with the author dropping her all together, honestly. She hasn't contributed much to the story and because of her the mc isn't focusing on the white hair girl. Xueyun is just annoying with her decision making. Even now, refusing to acknowledge mc when he calls out to her. Can't help but feel that the story would be almost the same without her, if not a little better.
