Wait, I thought that the Demon Lord had been the Emperor for a long time already. And that the Prince was his actual son. How come there is a "true Emperor" around? Did the replacement happen a (relatively) short time ago?

@misticsan im pretty sure that just before a few of the princes were born (last 2 i think) was around the time of the emperors take over by the demon lord but they were kept out of the loop by making the demon lord the father,but the prince has always had a feeling something wasn't right anyway.

@Misticsan The Demon Lord took over a long time ago, but he put a puppet family in place to rule. He usually just gave instructions from the shadows, but since he was so close to completing his work he just imprisoned the current Emperor and took over his identity to speed things along.

The Demon Emperor said he's killing everyone of both bloodlines. If the Prince proceeds with offing his dad, he's the biggest fool, for all he's doing is delaying his own death. Anyone who things the Demon Emperor would actually not use the Prince's blood is fooling themselves.
