This one is so damn longer and so damn darker from other chapter.

To be honest this the first time i saw itou hachi work this dark. Most of it was fluffy with some mild drama tho.

If it's Itou Hachi it will be good. Man, this story... I don't even care if it's non-romantic. "Contaminated outer world" and desperate and reckless act of sensei means there is only one outcome. At least they'll sleep together for the last time, but this time under the blue sky.

There was a nuclear war that change the climate in some regions but why there was that part with blue sky?

This is very reminiscent of the Studio Ghibli animated On Your Mark music video. In that a winged girl is rescued and taken to an outside world that is apparently dangerous to the inhabitants of a city it surrounds, likely due to radiation, which is hinted at here as well. (The sister's injuries look a lot like radiation burns.)

I don't think they will necessarily die. Even if the outside world is dangerous to Sensei, it may not be to Hanon. She was found abandoned in that outside world at age 3, and her only real sickness seems to be the formation of the misshapen wings on her back.

At the very least, fear of the outside world should keep the city from sending anyone after them.

Radiation and\or biological\chemical weapons. I guess people live under some kinds of domes, and it's only natural that artificial climate of these shelters isn't the best.
