After re-reading it, i think you're right. I'm pretty sure its "The Mightiest Leveling System" that I actually follow on my Amazon kindle unlimited. Its one of the worst translated series I've ever tried to read, but its so hilariously over the top that I'm current at volume 14 that just came out.
The guy used to be able to go super saiyan once a day (he lost it when his game lit system updated due to him going up a worldly realm). And can currently turn into the Hulk three times (two more times, since he used one). The sheer number of comics, anime, and xianxia references in his game lit system is nuts. He's even currently running around with Sun Wukong's staff.
He constantly gets told "You're too arrogant"
His reply is normally "Then why do I feel like I'm not arrogant enough?"
