Oh well, lovely story. It feels like the curse was lifted ultimately from knowing and accepting it. There's very little to back up this thought (as he forgot every time he regressed), so that's what it'll remain: a gut feeling.

Maybe the truth is that he needed to spawn an offspring to lose the curse....and pass it onto someone else....
the moral is: you will never grow until you marry and reproduce oh oh oh.

Anyway, thanks a LOT for finally finishing this, I have been waiting for so long, admittetly the ending doesn't hit as much as I hoped it would, but I am still satisfied.

While that would be.... "Interesting" from a plot perspective (less so a moral perspective), I don't believe that is the case.

• In chapter 6, it is clearly established to be winter. The characters are wearing jackets and scarves. While I don't remember if Subaru's birthdate was ever mentioned, it is certainly in winter.
• Time is indicated to have passed with the celebration of Sakura blooming - which typically happens in March. (Less of a point simply because we don't see whether or not Mio is drinking).
• Finally, Subaru specifies that the baby is expected "next spring", so the kid was likely conceived in late spring/early summer.

Naturally, this is just my perspective and understanding, so take it with a grain of salt.
