I think that's the first time I saw a succubus grandmother, ever. Very seiso ending for the story.

It's ambiguous enough that everyone can head cannon their own ending to the tale, I hate cop out endings like that, choose a route and stick with it (or write multiple routes)

It was set ambiguously over 100 years later and he was already middle aged, him dying isn't surprising, the question is did she have kids with him or maybe she found someone else, there is a kid that looks almost exactly like her in the foreground so I think it's safe to assume that's at least her grandkid so it's possible she found someone else, potentially his own kid with another woman after he rebuffed her advances like

more like the author has the rest of the story in a comic that they did... which we only have access to 2/3rd of.

This chapter is more of an epilogue for that story.

Had to reread the last one.. the grandma is the succubus the MC saved. The tombstone she's next to is his. The girl in front that looks like her younger self could be their descendant
