I think the initial conversation made sense and I didn't mind that we got a bunch of chapters explaining how succubi work. It was a reasonable time to establish that.

I do question following that with a second reveal about the MC's past, though. It seems like that would make sense to cover in a later arc instead of blowing it all now. Has me concerned about how long the story is planned to be.
