idgaf, yokiri is a bad person. he watched her get abused and tried to make the manager “atone” ?? what would that do if he’s always been like this even after getting out of jail. like he said, he was doing allat for himself to ease the guilt cuz if they didn’t murder the manger, he would’ve found a diff victim
Sure he should have acted on this, and he is complicit in the abuse. But we don't know the circumstances around it, or the blackmail the abuser has on him. I wish people would finally graduate from the 'singular hero' mentality. As a society, we are all complicit

u missed the point because it’s the mere fact that he wanted to find the manager and make him APOLOGIZE like that would do anything. how in any way does this protect the victim? also he recorded all that evidence NOT to turn him in, but to PERSUADE itsuki in hopes that he’d change?? no actual repercussions. saying “we’re all complicit” is such a cop out. he didn’t want the manager to atone, he wanted him to give a verbal apology to aki so it’ll ease their conscious while aki has to live with the traumas of the physical and sexual abuse she endured.

I had a feeling Marie wouldve come in at the worst time, aka when Aki was showing her scars and bruises to Rui, and totally misunderstood it... I like the way this is written, you can see Aki was less than hesitant to show off the bruises the way she did, like she was commanded to do those same movements so often that became her default way of showing things underneath her clothes

Rui is a whimp, how could you ever still call someone who you saw do such things to another human your friend? What would apologizing do? He's gone to jail before, he couldve repent yet he didnt, do you really trust an apology from him?

I don't think anyone's brought up the most outrageous thing the manager did...
HE REMOVED AKI'S NIPPLES!!!
