God this was such a sweet series. (And the perfect length for an anime adaption please please please!)

It's unconcentional, but also kind of a relief the story didn't force a a last minute confrontation. Sometimes cases simply go unsolved, but that doesnt mean Marie's worry wasn't well founded.

I do wish we had some more time with these characters. But Im also very satisfied with what we got.

Edit: Jesus I wish there was a way to block crazy people like GLFanatic who keep stalking people's post history to leave Xs everywhere.

so i usually skip series with the "gore" and "sexual violence" tags, but the art was just too cute. i ended up reading everyone's comments here and on the main page first and decided to go for it!!!

i was not disappointed!!

as far as the gore/sexual violence tag goes -- yeah there are some pages that conveyed the sinister tone and implications well, but the author did their best in making it pretty palpable. for anyone reading this and thinking about reading the series, i think it's worth giving it a shot. the first 3 chapters should give you a good litmus test on whether you think you can handle the series but I'd say most of the "bad" stuff is in the earlier parts anyway. the rest of the time, it's fluffy between Marie and Aki.

i think most authors tend to shy away from these types of dark themes, or they do them for the shock value usually, but I felt that the story told here was quite respectful.

overall i'm glad it was a happy ending. they really deserve it!!!!!!!

Clearly there was still more left to tell, but because it's yuri, another volume wasn't authorized and so it had to be wrapped up quickly. Still, I'm glad it was a happy ending. I enjoyed the manga even if it was rushed at the end.

For a simple brain like me, this ending is the best. Just hoping they will help and become real friend with Yokiri when he finishes sentence. Most of side characters are amazing and MCs basically heal each other.
