If I got this right, by giving Tetsudo love, which would have given life had Tetsudo been a woman, Kamitezuna is releasing his remains attachment to his ex. Since Tetsudo was feeling suicidal, being given that "love" it allowed him to rid himself of that longing for death.

This seems like a really complicated way to write off Kamitezuna using Tetsuda as a rebound by means of "saving his life" with affection. I do hope I'm reading this all wrong, because that's how this story played out for me.

This was a good one! Thanks for taking the time to translate this and especially the afterword, which really tied the pieces together. I was curious about that philosophical tag and was not disappointed.

I don't know, I'm dumb, but after reading
the afterword,... I kinda sympathize with tetsudo, kinda sad though (for me I guess cause that's what I understand).
Sad, because kamitezuna used tetsudo ( that's how I feel?), well I don't have any issues with that though as it is also beneficial for Tetsudo, preventing him from suicide(?), and a change of from his tiring life. Giving him a reason and a person to lean on.

I usually just skim over the afterword coz a lot of the times it's just words of thanks & promoting the author's other works. Definitely gave an extra layer of feels to the oneshot. Thanks for the heads up & the TL!!
