suggestions to add to the site

the "new popular title" on the home page is pretty bad to say the least so i suggest to change it to reccomendation instead how it work is kinda like a reccomended tab in games like roblox,etc where it analyze manga/manwha/manhua you read and reccomend you manga/manwha/manhua base on your bookmarked manga/manwha/manhua genres,rating,etc

the second suggestion is to add a mass select option
how this will work is like to mass select manga/manwha/manhua in searches/library/... and bookmark/report/update status in library/...

the third suggestion is to add a way for users to suggest to add or remove a tag for a manga/manwha/manhua like for example you are searching for an isekai + harem manga for some reason... and you read one of them and there isnt a harem you can suggest the removal of the tag

this is my suggestion the last one is so short im just gonna include it here add some new tag/themes like villainess(cuz it just a npc pick of a trope rn)

For real though, the Popular New Titles section works as it was designed to. If you think the content there is "bad" then it's just a matter of personal taste/opinion. A "suggestions based on library" would be kinda cool, no idea how it'd work though.

So it's exactly what it sounds like, suggestions that are made based purely on what's already in your library. Something that says "we noticed you have read these titles, we think these titles you haven't read are most similar to what's already in your library."

A terribly bad example but it's what I can come up with at this moment in time:
"Because you've read Mieruko-chan and Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai: Tensai-tachi no Ren'ai Zunousen, you might like Usotsuki Satsuki wa Shi ga Mieru"

From what I glean from the PNT-Rondel-Slop, a lot of them are hate-reads, at least by the vocal commenters, so I don't think these would get that much of such clicks

No it would be unique to each account's library/reading list. It would allow your recommendations to be solely for you. However, if two people have the exact same library, recommendations would look very similar.

Neither of them fit to what I meant. The only category title's I dislike get is "Dropped" and that also only if I ever read them enough to put them into the library in the first place before putting them there.

What I meant is that the "New Popular Title" rondel gets changed to have a "Recommend Series" button on each manga page for evaluation. I imagine that apart from organized trolling, this would keep slop that is mostly hate-read out of the circulation

So a button that only affects 15 (give or take) manga at a time?
That is why I included the rating system as another metric to be included in the recommendation system in my above post. If people really do not like a series, make it reflect there. This gives every manga an opportunity to be removed from the algorithm and doesn't rely on a yes or no question. If people do want a title to be recommended, but there are also "no" votes, what takes precedence? What if the votes are split 50-50? It's much simpler and makes a lot more sense to have every title be given the chance to be recommended except for those that are extremely low rated.

Also, there's use cases where a system like this simply does not apply. If a good 70% of your reading list is action/horror, guess what's not going to be recommended to you? PNT romcom slop! On the other side of the coin, if all you read is PNT romcom slop, a person is going to want to see those titles in their recommended. A system like this should boil down to personal tastes and what the user reads
