Yes we in fact have to use French orthography for French loanwords because of this thing called the Latin script. The Greeks, and Russians don't have this problem due to using different scripts. Conversely, the Chinese names for anime characters (or places in Japan) can sound very fucking dumb because they are forced to read the hanzi/kanji as is (in Mandarin).
