@sweet-potato It's less that they are sadists and more that their perceptions and morals are different than humans. It's like calling a human a sadist because they kept a bug as a pet on a whim and forgot to feed it and didn't know how to care for it properly, so it died. The human didn't know, nor did they care all that much. It was just to "kill time" as it were.
