I probably don't need to bombard the people on mangadex with this comment but this chapter is ironic. The author did their whole philosophical take on deism in general in the middle of her supernatural story to say why she probably doesn't believe in God. I'm just remarking that when "god" did work a miracle in her own story, the god himself rationalised it into being chance. If you can't take real life proof of the existence of God, at least what WE call proof, is there any point in arguing. I mean if you see a miracle and say it's completely by chance, it's like talking to a brick wall. Our understanding of the world is so radically different we can't even talk about it.
I just find it all ironic that in this story the author wrote where deities do exist, and they actually ARE causing the natural disasters, it's still rationalised as being by chance. Then again, maybe that's not the point. Maybe the author is saying that if God does exist, He doesn't actually care enough to actually do anything. That's an interesting perspective I guess. Perhaps it's just a glimpse into the author's life and their understanding of the world and I just have to appreciate it. Anyways, sorry for bombarding you guys who probably just wanted to read a manga.
