Shit was real at some point.

Germany's variant of national sozialism pushed hard to promote family value among their ideals. They gave newly-weds low rate loan that's reduced for every child produced and completely disappear after the 4th child. This encouraged poor people to marry to make ends meet. They also considered any art that dont promote germanic spirit degenerative arts and eventually banned them.

Russia's variant of socialism, the second S in USSR, also pushed hard to promote family value and discouraged degen art. They taxed unmarried men and, though dont ban degen art outright, choked their funding and jailed non-mainstream political artists. Coincidentally, so many russian men died in ww2, those who were left really didnt have difficulty finding someone to get married to.
