I'm a little confused and annoyed that the girls had to apologize to the boys when they were the ones acting like selfish pests and making trouble for everyone.

I guess the point is that it's more important to let bygones be bygones and get along, but still, it doesn't sit exactly right by me.

Older siblings are always the ones who have to apologise! But they get more authority so I guess it balances out.
