I highly doubt he will escape with any of them, all of them are already incredibly splintered in terms of wants and interests. And there literally is no unifying common ground. Autumn and Chrys don't care about Ichi or anything else really, they just want to have the most fun, which they probably won't get outside of war, though I can see Chrys personally hating it the moment she will get hurt. Eliza is mentally unstable and while she wants to go back to Ichi, what she wants is the "former fun days" which will be impossible considering both of them will be fugitives and the other 3 girls won't cooperate. Considering she literally tried killing herself too, it's likely she will ask Ichi to kill her next time they talk. Cherry is an odd-ball but I doubt she will be reintroduced to the plot any time soon. She neither cares about Ichi nor about the race war, she's either gonna die in the crossfire or she will be the last person standing, truly being incorporated into human society.so much meta this chapter, all the wish fulfillment, main character syndrome n shower thoughts about regrets lmao. The girls are so tied to the government, how is he gonna escape with em...
thanks for the chapter
I think you're a bit off with your opinion about Cherry. It's not that she doesn't care about Ichi, it's that she's trying to find meaning in her life outside of him. She wants to experience love, and is finding out how to do that without him. I think she will show up again and will probably be key in helping Ichi get out of his situation, but I don't think she'll end up with him.Cherry is an odd-ball but I doubt she will be reintroduced to the plot any time soon. I don't think that's the case. She gave her ultimatum which effectively meant that without Ichi's requited love, she wants to die. But she still continued to live anyways, probably because of her child. Either way, she continued to live for whatever reason it may be, and now is just desperately trying to distance herself from Ichi as much as possible, by denying his rules, refusing the given definition of love, letting other sphere humans continue to exist etc... She has also shown nothing but contempt towards Ichi in the few appearances after she split from him too. Narratively and characterization wise there is no reason for Cherry to A: tolerate Ichi's existence B: interact with him out of her own volition. Unless the author pulls some bullshit like "Sphere Humans can only fall in love once" which would be hilariously awful for the manga cause it'd reduce the characterization of Eliza and Cherry to literally 0.I think you're a bit off with your opinion about Cherry. Do Autumn and Chrys really not care about Ichi anymore? I thought that they did care but that they were pissed off that Eliza was always the favorite of Ichi. It's been a bit since I've gotten all the characters down but I thought they still harbored some feelings for him.I highly doubt he will escape with any of them, all of them are already incredibly splintered in terms of wants and interests. I like that the implication here is that he would have kissed her right there, instantly lovestruck
