These last chapters reminded me of something.
Some years ago I started watching japanese motorbikers channels, probably partly by Super Cub's influence fault.
I remember watching a few videos from a female rider and suddenly a car decided to kill her. She was riding with another woman in a collab video and suddenly that car threw itself at them. I did see the following video showing that she survived, she was even with her leg stretched by a cable just like Koguma, but never came back to see more details.
Found the channel again and looked the old videos to know more.

Nothing really that "serious", "just some broken bones", but man....
MAAAAAAAAAANNNNN.....

Seeing these things in a manga and seeing these things with real people in a video hits differently.

Absolutely. No matter how careful of a rider you can be, it doesn't matter if the other vehicles around you are trying to kill you, intentionally or not. Defensive riding is always the best. If you encounter a reckless driver, it's best to get out of their way, slow down, stop, and let them pass you.

As a rider, remember that a motorcycle never wins against a car. They're protecting by a lot of active and passive safety features, and you might as well be a pedestrian sitting on a hunk of metal. Ride safe ✌️
