I am pretty sure that they are just showing up to have the characters talk to someone when they are apart. Also, she called him Aniki and the little girl called him Uncle so they're his sister and niece

So yamadas dad looks like Sasaki and her mom looks like her? 1. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree and 2. It reminds me of Akutsu-san. Akutsu looks exactly like her mom and ooyama looks exactly like her dad.

If I have time, then yes. I'm not entirely sure about the missing chapters since another group did those. I believe they removed them on Dex, but you can still read those on aggregator sites.
