really? is it because korean MCs prioritize self-strengthening like solo leveling?

Unless new trait is much more useful for long range/archers (thus Yui) than melee, I think MC should use it himself

gangster is the most viable other choice, but it's iffy if he'll be trustworthy if they don't absolutely NEED MC anymore, like if he figures out MC's smartphone is his power, he may try to steal it.

The ai will probably choose who is suitable for the trait(i do feel like mc can handle most traits anyway)
i'm not sure it's a good thing to go the solo route when they were teleported together, unless they were really annoying(like the old dude who's with them), it's good to have allies, you can't do everything alone
even solo leveling isn't exactly solo, his summons do the dirty work

teleported together , and not currently annoying =/= trustworthy in long-term. Also , it's it's fully possible MC can find trustworthy people as teammates/allies in this world later, he's not obligated to help the others who came from korea with him , especially since he wasn't even close with anyone either.

1. Jingwoo could have shared exp with others multiple times in solo leveling, but always chooses to level up himself. so yes, he choose to be solo.
2. nothing suggests this MC couldn't get a summon ability later too

Yeah no obligation to help but since he already started helping he might as well just fully commit, he just needs to find trustworthy allies
Jinwoo couldn’t really help the others level up, they all had a cap to their levels
Every dungeon was a setup for the higher beings to invade their world so, no humans using the strengh coming from those dungeon could ever hope to win
Jinwoo had a power system outside of what the dungeons gave, rivaling those higher being, so it was just only him and his army who could defend earth

'might as well' really isn't a good mentality if he priorities personal survival.

sure he helped them, but he hasn't made any personally disadvantageous decisions yet, so quite different from his choice of getting an ability himself here

It was said from the start, it’s why he was low level himself for long before his other awekening
Even if you get a 2nd awekening, you will still be caped at some point
Jinwoo had no limit his 2nd awekening is more special than the others

I'm gonna ask the source for that as well. Because I clearly remember the novel stated the same thing as the manhwa, as explained by the upgrader granny: the hunters didn't generate the power themselves, they were merely acting as a conduit to some outside power. The throughput of that connection was strictly limited for each person, with the exact amount defining their rank, and she was the only one who could by some means increase it slightly. Jinwoo was the only one to have all the power come from within him, but he could not affect other hunters - his powers were limited to the shadows, and possibly to Architect's constructs like that demon girl from the tower, but only because their creation used those very same powers of the Shadow Monarch.
