when i sat back and thought about it beyond the first translation back in august, i had high initial expectations, but then remembered how this author is just a closeted smut author and his plots just devolve into some justification for Harem shenanigans. Hence why i compare it against Gyaru Maid and Villainess. one of them is a masterpiece hiding behind a terrible synopsis, and the other is a smut parading as a yuri isekai

Honestly, I'm getting close to just not caring about this story. Author literally just said "Yeah, IDC about that. Anything that happens is completely arbitrary and can change on a whim." There's no reason to get invested if it doesn't really matter.

Also, only explanation I can think of for why Ice magic beats Fire magic is that maybe there's no water element magic? So Ice Magic IS Water magic?

Shouldn't Ice Element be actually weak against fire? Because, you know, fire melts the ice..? The water element should be the weakness of the fire element.

In Mage Knight boardgame, ice and coldfire block is efficient versus fire attack; fire and coldfire block is efficient versus ice. Only coldfire block is efficient versus coldfire attack, and there isn't much of either in the game.

Just think Beam-O-War (where they cancel out) and you'll be fine.
