Still don't get the premise quite well. Unless "street kids" some Japanese social phenomenon that I don't know, I don't understand if they are homeless or not. One of them is always on a school uniform so she could just be an absentee but the other two have "fancy" clothes and a lot of accessories. I don't see how they could maintain their image without money and homeless... unless there is some really unsavoury jobs these poor kids are doing in the background
Or maybe I'm too much of a worrywart to take this lightly.
Edit: Yep. I was kind of right about the social phenomenon thing but sadly it doesn't rule out the unsavoury part. It seems like they are "Toyoko Kids". Homeless runaway kids that exploded in numbers during the pandemic because of the rise of domestic abuse
