How come it's only when Honoka prompts him that he considers doing track for himself instead of just Suzuka? It's why she kept pushing him to do better- she wanted him to find his own fulfillment in competing, just like she was, but he just kept being that usual 'go with the flow' Yamato, instead of actually seeking to make that change for himself that he's been wanting ever since the beginning of the story. He had the realization that he needed to act to get that change, but he doesn't seem to get he needs to keep acting- keep pushing. The world won't wait for you, you need to race forward, yourself.
