Determination? Or perhaps delusion? She can hope all she wants that he'll look her way more seriously than with Suzuka, have as much fun with her as he does with Suzuka... but I dunno about that. Suffice to say, the Track and Field club is full of guys that appreciate her, anyway- even in the inevitable result of her never ending up with Yamato, she has options among them. Hell, it's felt like they've been hinting at Kobayakawa crushing on her at least as far back as the pool trip.
