Quite awhile back, much closer to the beginning of this story, I posted comments saying she only acted this way with people she was close with, or wanted to be close with. And here, her sister's spelling it out clear. She's hard on him because she cares. Like I said all that time ago, there was no sign she was treating anyone else as harshly as she was Yamato, and yet he acted like she was a grumpy and unpleasant person to everyone, which was always false.

Her showing this side of herself means she feels comfortable to be this way with him, which is and always has been a good sign.
