A while ago I've read a chapter of a completely different work but found that the first death was so lacking cause the author had not even tried to build an emotional bond with the character. Not so here! The entire time I knew that the mother was going to die and her death still moved me! I think that this manga is going to be really good

Definitely, there should be some kind of rule that if someone is going to get killed, they have to be established as a character first.
