Been rereading this manga, and this chapter is just the perfect example of why kintetsu yamada is so goated. She made a character whos the ultimate bitch, and yet you can't blame her. The thing that undid asako was a random day in elementary school for her, and over the years she's twisted the memory to be one where she was the good guy, which in her mind means she keeps getting to be a bitch. We've probably all done something just like that without even realizing. She herself probably doesn't realize. But she's still a total bitch! A character shows up for 12 pages and she evokes such strong, complex emotions. Brilliant stuff. I hope she dies.
