What a beautiful story. My heart was aching these last few chapters and I was so worried about a bitter conclusion but I'm really glad that things turned out the way they did.
I'm not sure how long that time skip was but it was a good tool to build the tension and create a heavy emotional impact, though I wish we could have seen more of them together. I suppose that wanting to see more was mostly a result of the gap in time since I don't think I'd feel like this if they just got back together at graduation or something. At least we know they stayed together for at least a couple decades, right?

I think my only issue was that there were so many characters that I lost track of them and sometimes couldn't tell if we had even been introduced to certain characters yet. I'm sure some people could find all sorts of things to complain about because this isn't exactly like every other cookie-cutter yuri being written nowadays but I'm a fan of beautifully written stories even if they don't 100% conform to my tastes and this is definitely beautifully written and I can't think of another story that tried to depict the experience of a young lesbian woman so realistically.

All in all I'm happy to have read Aoi Hana and I can tell this story will stay with me and be something that I compare all future stories against which is the highest praise I can give

I hate that they had to do another time skip, and I especially hate that it took jealousy to bring them together. I honestly thought that Akira seeing Fumi with other girls would have made her realize her feelings earlier in the series, but I guess not.

Also, the part about the relationship going from fun to too serious.. I felt the writing didn't portray that well enough. They were still having a good time at the movies one chapter, and then the next they were acting kind of awkward and trying to mess around before Akira broke it off without talking it out (at least on the page).

I think what I'm feeling right now can be described with one word: "frustrating." I really don't understand the need to have the protagonists break up only to later say they love each other again, but they can't be together because Akira has to sort through her feelings.

Honestly, the ending is bittersweet, and I can barely understand it. Did they decide to become a couple? Are they going to start their relationship again as friends? I think the author should have been clearer with the ending of this work.
