Back in the day a lot of wrestlers would keep up the kayfabe up in private, even around their own families. The girls obviously think the storyline is extremely important to their show and therefore are willing to keep up the kayfabe around their coworkers in order to sell it to the best of their ability. All it would take is one peer to spill the beans to kill the illusion for all the fans.
