Usually it’s the idiot hero getting manipulated. This is a refreshing change of pace!

It kinda feels like the first 10 chapters were from a diff story though? Idk if the whole dead twin thing was necessary.

It's not bad for a typical sports manga but with his twin being dead, I did expect a bit more psychological since I think it's proven that if a sibling dies and they were a big deal, another sibling sort of becomes them and fills the void while sacrificing their own personality.

Whether that'll come up later or not I dunno, but at least the sports is good. XD
