Was going to say the MCs being an idiot with his idle chatter, but he realized his owm mistake (or maybe cause she told him off for his stupidity) and got his head back in the game.. No time for that type of chatter.
Two people got eaten without them even firing their guns O_O (I already asked why none of them got firearms training? They dont even fire their weapons correctly, ) But hey what did I say... the bugs are going to eat you.

OKay. . . . . I'll ask the most logical question possible. . . Why didn't they just use miniaturized Vehicles with weapons to navigate this small world. Would have been very helpful in this chapter.
Imagine how annoying a Spider would have been there instead of the bug they found. As well as how it ended up ultimately.

I'm assuming the non-human approach will be explained in future chapters.
Minimal training with random civilians will definitely cause a Darwin award scenario eventually, but with whatever the government knows, they likely already know that and pushed forward anyway; time is of the essence.

why did they make the people 100x smaller? maybe have them 50x smaller so at least it would be easier to fight?
