had they maintain the same art previous artist did, or at least the semblance of it, I'd say the manga would retain most if not all its previous fans and follower, now people just being here just to see its end just for the sake of it

Holy crap, I went back and looked at the first chapter and you're right. It's like a completely different title. When did MC turn from a late-20s salaryman to a 13-year-old boy?

yeah man, this is just straight messed up. Like... imagine releasing 21 chapters (yes, we're counting full numbers, not this .0, .2, .1234 nonsense) for 3 years just to be hacked for another 3 years. And then, when you one day see this again and are like "whoa, this is surprising" you get like 3 chapters in one go and a big looney-tunes-style "that's it folks!" bitchslap straight in the face. With wet rag. Like... why? What was the thought process behind all of this? What was the reason to even come back to do it? Not gonna shit on OP, big thanks to him for wanting to do this somewhat one-off side-job but still looking in broader perspective- was it really worth it to go back and do this weird ending? Couldn't we just silently agree with this title being axed and abandoned? No harm's done, we're forgetting about it and moving on? Especially after getting like 3 chapters before

I'm not going to comment on the ending itself strictly speaking, or the storyline, which got off to a nice start and then quickly began to roll downhill, because you already wrote that. All of this just leaves me with one big "...BUT WHY?".

All you need to do was to open chapter 1-4 and put it side by side on the final chapter

If you didnt spot it earlier, you should see the difference now, if not, get your eyes checked
I was wondering if they changed the artist, if not then its even worse,

The artist couldnt maintain art quality and went to simplify art cliche type, lazy shading and feminize the MC for some reason,
MC was a highschool isekai teen chad for pete sake!
Everything to make things simpler either becoz they got lazy or they just got worse for some reason?
If I wanna be Karen and nitpicky, I could simply listed few, as u can see above,
the hair line gets lazier,
hair shading lazier,
jawline get smaller and shorter, giving mc shota facial feature and lazier,
body type gets smaller, looks more loli type instead variety like it was before and lazier
background details went more simplified lazier, and less details

just look at the hot onee-san compared side by side, her necklace is less detailed, her hairline less detail, hair shading quality gone and get simplified by lazy shading above the head, she lost her dignified adult mystic as cool and calm person look too due to art style change which makes her a hot onee-san in the first place

look at the bunny loli hair, artist rather make lazy hair shading instead actually make a proper hair style and line like they did originally, SAME thing for the dark skin elf

i LOVE isekai trash manga, but at least if I follow something, let it be the same thing i followed till the end, I hate these style of art even in isekai, and they just simply covered it with seggs final chapter and call it a day, I dont know how the producer DIDNT spot the art change by the artist and green flag it for publishing, weird stuff, cuz it FEELS like the artist regret taking this title and just want be done with it ASAP, in which explained the 25 chapters

haha, the chicken pictures actually reminded me I posted something on mangadex few years ago, it took me awhile digging back and realize I posted on the main hub comment instead chapters comment. So far this is the only manga I know that have drastic art quality changes but maintain same artist (no artist changed), at least Mob Sekai (Otomega) actually changed the artist and I can decide if im gonna keep following it or not with new art change

This manga and artist really dont have excuse for this

Call me prude. But the forced nudity and sex scenes really harmed the Manga instead of helping it.

Add to that the mellowing of all characters. And the unnecessary gender bending of the MC. Ending it with the same gimmick as the start didn't land even though it should have.
I would definitely rather seen the story continue with the MC rasing in rank to reach S rank adventurer all while eating an ever more exotic and fantastical beasts to get stronger.

Instead we got a little girl who has the brother of the year that not only is fine with her traveling with a stranger. But also marrying her off to boot.

Shame to the potential of this Manga. If anyone can remind me of the other Manga where the MC eats Monster cores to get their powers I would be grateful, as I would rather read that one instead.
