In my country, sick student had to stay at sick bay or something similar (i forgot the name since it was like eons ago) this is to isolate the sick student from healthy student. Usually they have a health teacher which attend your case and call parents to pickup their sick children. Sometimes if serious case they will call ambulance to pickup the sick student, for mild one the health teacher will send the student to clinic/hospital
It also where this red crescent society club usually held
Also i used to be admit to sick bay alot in junior high, and i think i sleep only twice before
