that and the uploads were just a few mins short of one hour apart. so anyone who thinks that a chapter with translated and redrawn sfx was a reaction to a snipe can't be taken seriously anyway.

Tbh, if Allen doesn't win here I'd be very disappointed.

I'd expect Allen to win and perhaps the 2 ladies will realize the ex-protag isn't to be underestimated. It is taking Weiss everything he has to crush him - but Allen doesn't die/KO'd and keeps getting back up. Neither Cynthia or Lilith has as much physical power as Weiss and I doubt they ever will. I'd imagine that amount of pile-up beating is basically super-charging Allen to face and climb/knock down the wall known as Weiss eventually. Until then, everyone is basically cannon fodder or a speed bump to Allen.
The question is when will the senpai lady (hinted back in chapter 7) going to show up. Given that she had a bird in the preview, there is a good chance she already spied on what Weiss is doing. After that, it is probably another checkpoint to figure out how many yanderes are or will be coming after Weiss.
