He really is a wretched piece of shit, but he's the edgy protagonist so a certain readership will bend over backwards to defend him.

This is clearly not for me. I don't really understand why it would appeal to anyone, but oh well. Have fun with it, I guess.
Must agree with you pal, a good chunk of mangas is getting pretty stale as i'm getting older, people almost crucified me one time because i said that the Hero (not the mc) in 'Akuyaku Kizoku to shite Hitsuyou na Sore' wasn't as bad as the manga was trying to portray so far and that in some particular scene, the heroines overreacted way too much to what he did and that most of times it's a cheap way of the author to make people create enmity with the character but was simply poorly made.

This one was getting pretty dull with the whole protagonist actions, kinda dropped it in chapter 13, opened this chapter because the 178 comments intrigued me, and what i get, people don't seeing how the whole mc personality is flawed, not saying that a story couldn't have this as a plot point, i love unconventional pretest, but it's has been done in a pretty juvenile way so far.

If anyone want some fresh air i recommend this one it's pretty cool, a bit over in some moments but pretty enjoyable so far. peace!

I'll never understand Japanese authors infatuation with slavery. It ruins so many good stories. Like, what was the purpose of this scene at all? It could have been about literally anything and he chose to make the MC pro-slavery because it would be "hard" to abolish or some stupid shit. "Necessary evil" my ass man, fuck this guy. This shit was already getting boring with the super repetitive constant fighting.
