Close but not entirely correct. This is originally the scenario where Cynthia starts gaining an interests in Allen but hasn't fallen for him yet. She's also the one that comforts him and gets him out of his derpression after Sheryl dies in this event. However because of Weiss's actions in regards to making Cynthia his fiancé Cynthia does not developed anything for Allen here and simply sees him as a classmate. Sheryl is also saved and both Allen and Weiss end up teaming up to fight a dragon. They're actually not awkward at all in terms of their relationship as Cynthia fully trusts Weiss and is very loyal to him to the point where even if he's with another girl she trusts that Weiss has a good reason. Its why when Weiss was recruiting Cecil, Cynthia did not take any actions against her even if she was feeling lonely to which Cecil tells Weiss, Cynthia will get mad if they hang out too much and that he should give some time to Cynthia as well. Weiss however feels a bit insecure at times because of his knowledge of the original scenario but eventually comes to understand just how loyal Cynthia is to him. This is shown when he both when he accidentally creates a misunderstanding with Karta and Cynthia just accepts as well as when Weiss feels guilty regarding not telling her about his reincarnation as well as the demon incursion event to which Cynthia just says she'll wait for when he's ready to tell her and won't pry reassuring him that she accepts him as who he is.

No there's more around just these two are the ones to give out the instructions. The document they signed is also a waiver releasing the school from the responsibility of their death. Weiss father was very angry later not because of the event itself with the waiver signed but the fact the school missed 2 dragons being in the location during this event showing their negligence as it was an abnormal situation.


Yes originally it did because Sheryl dies here and Cynthia is the one to comfort and get Allen back on his feet in the original scenario. Weiss hates this because its such a sad event having Sheryl just die and wants to prevent it, hence why he told them to not participate. Sheryl initially misunderstands and thought he only wanted to gain easy points with them not there. During this event Weiss gets paired with Duke and they go nonstop hunting with no sleep just to try and find Sheryl to prevent her death. Also Sheryl gets paired up with Lilith and Allen is paired with Cynthia.
