That’s a mistranslation… The girl, Cynthia the female lead, didn’t take her glasses off. Instead of “I took my glasses off” it should have been “she (the female teacher) took her glasses off”. So MC didn’t immediately recognize the woman wearing a coat and a goggle that covers her face as his teacher.

I don't like this half chapter-length crap... But to stay on topic. It seems the foreshadowing of the blizzard being the worst option implies mobility and vision will likely be limited.
Let's hope our flying girl (Carta) and Allen's childhood friend (Sherly?) doesn't get hurt; they seem to be the most "sane" people keeping the sanity that remains.
If the pairing is random though, what are the odds Weiss gets a different girl in the class aside from the 3 we know (Carta, Cynthia, and Lilith)?

I was quite stuck at that part as well. What confused me was her saying "I/She took her glasses off" but the teacher was already wearing those goggles. Couldn't quite remember if she used to wear different glasses before. Regardless, I'll change it. Thanks for the input.
