They... might? Either that or a translation issue. Recall in the earlier chapters that Valetta called the giant wolf a "giant oribou", which might sound like "uribō" or a wild boar's young. Hard to tell whether it's intentional or a mistake on the part of either or both scanlators.

it's always been Uribou
it's the author's decision to name the animal Uribou, which in Japanese is indeed a nickname for small wild boar,
but the author stated that the animal "looks like a wolf with white hair, the size of a calf"
I think the translator should just left it as Uribou
