Ngl, I don't think I can vibe with this read. It's one thing to recreate things from modern time to the middle age but to full on bring literal items that could shift so much of the balance of that era's nation or the world even to such a degree.... yeah nah. I hate this kind of plot, more so when the "MC" are unapologetic for causing said imbalance and those who worship them reassures they aren't at fault.

Sorry, it's just frustratIng that to think this is how far this read would come when I saw the first few chapters then jump to see the latest. 😓

I would like to know why Barvel is just so adamant about this war and why they attacked the castle garrison and broke the ceasefire so brazenly while acting like that wasn't a big deal. I have to imagine in this society and culture that breaking a ceasefire like they did is not looked at positively.

Considering in the past chapters that they talked about how Barvel wasn't really in that good of a position and situation (I think it was a famine that somehow miraculously turned around based on the conversations with Zirconia and that Barvel woman). Just as Arcadia wasn't (until Kazura/Valetta). The difference here being that Arcadia clearly just want to be left the fuck alone while the country of Barvel seems hellbent on invading anyone that they can for some reason. And it seems more pressing than just "lol, conquest, I want those lands."

From hints dropped previously, it seems the invasion was the 10th legion's doing, whose commander went behind their parliment's back. Their motives aren't sensible, especially since they insist no one wants all out war (which is ridiculous, when they've already caused it). Before this chapter it seemed like the 10th legion staged the bandit attacks in order to get a casus belli, but now things make far less sense - who in their right mind would just take the bait here?
