lmao he made up a story to his boss about 'inheriting a business' but his friends/acquaintances knew to the point where there was rando religious ppl soliciting him? unless ppl saw him win the lotto or it's publicized like some old news papers used to do?
Dunno how often doomsday prep would be a thing in JP but i'd think it was just camping or ppl stocking up/working for another business but i wouldn't rly care unless they were cleaning out the store to the point where it'd inconvenience/stop other ppl from buying stuff they needed
if i saw someone buying alot of non perishables and other basic necessities, my first thought wouldnt be "oh they probably donating it all"
