Why does he trust Alondo to this extent? I can't help but think he's relying on him too much.

Alondo's from the same family (Big brother of Havel) which treated him fairly great at the start of the series. He's also quite knowledgeable with merchant relation stuff.

At least the MC acknowledged that there might be something personal going on with Marie and Alondo based on Marie's reaction alone.
