This one was lame. It was unique at the start, but as many mangas lost it direction and turned to generic friendship wins always ending.
Worst parts are, that this manga pulls out scenarios how it happens/why just out of its... Thing where sun doesn't shine.
Just too many convienent things happen with 0 logic or build up.

Well, Not that I don't like the Ending, but how I wish things could've been more messed up like it's beyond repair and the one that will be in despair is Takopi. then the tittle would be a perfect fit... Takopi's Original Sin.

i feel like the ending is rushed but anyway still okay to me. would be cool if one explanation about how really the time works in there considering they at least remember one thing about it before. still, i hoped the parents would at least suffer the consequences of their actions.

Only read the chapter that dont need the mangaplus, chapter 8 i think, one of the stuff i get from this manga, the reason why it's messed up first is because their failure of parents that affect their children life behavior and vent it to their children's

I liked the ending, but sincerely it needed some more develpment, the cliche of bullies to friends only works if you give it time, throught im happy for the glasses kid, he needs to stay away from both girls, be happy mah dude.

My takeaway is that even if you can't change your circumstances, you can change your attitude towards life (easier said than done of course).

At the end it may seem like lazy writing for Takopi to just use "the power of friendship" but I think what the author is saying is that everyone has the capability to be understanding of fellow human beings, and that someone who you hate might actually have more in common with you than you think. Don't let struggles divide humanity, but see them as an opportunity to unite and become stronger.

What I get from this story (beside nightmares!): you will not find happiness in gadgets or performative talking. Takopi's original sin is thinking about people as things you can manipulate to get a smile and label that as happiness. That's what gets everyone f*ed up. Also parents not having their shit together.
The end is ... well, an end. "Listen to each other", "their problems are the same as your's" and "happines is other people": as a message that is both trivial, overdone as a trope and yet so very hard to do.

Humans, eh... what can you do?

omg, idk what to say...some of the comments say it's trash at the end but i think it's kinda good

maybe because im soft and can't handle a bad ending well, i was expecting a worse ending where everyone is dead or the dad will be on prison and they start killing each other or something, but...8/10 for me

if anyone know where can i read something like this, i would love too

Personally, I read the entire thing from start to finish in two days. Before that, I read through a bit of the mangaka's other works which made me aware of some similarities in the themes and style of his work (I won't say what, though, but if you know you know).
The art is really great. The characters, at least to me, are solid. The story is nice.
The unraveling of the plot the further you go in feels great, though not really groundbreaking or anything like that. Personally it was more like "Oh, okay. Interesting."
As for the ending... I don't really think it's that bad. The themes of 'Everyone has their own problems' and 'We should communicate more with each other' are a bit cliche and overdone, but I see no reason as to why it should take away from the work itself, especially with the (at least what I assume to be) sincerity and genuine care the mangaka has taken to convey it.

The ending gave me a feeling of hope more than anything-pi.

Here's another name for this manga

"Bad Parenting and it's Consequences"

Man, it's some HEAVY reading. But overall, pretty damn good stuff.

I REALLY don't get the people complaining about the ending? Guess they were here for the emotional torture porn and the happy ending didn't sit well with them. Sure, author could've stretched it out, but I don't think that would add much to it.

I mean, the biggest "Yes, people have quality and defects, what's hard to grasp about that?" was set a few chapters before. That aside the point of the ending is "Talk with each other" and it showed what happens when people reach out and try that instead of just lashing out or letting things stew.

Again, yeah, we could've have a few chapters showing them extensively talking with each other, but it wouldn't add much to it, if anything, people would've complain about the ending being slow and boring.

This manga only made me feel squeamish, shizuka as a character didn't make me conflicted, it made me hate her since day 1, everyone is so sad and broken and beyond repair that it gets annoying quickly as you see no character development for the whole manga.
The thing here is that takopi doesn't land with the characters as it should, the only person you truly feel bad for is Azuma since he didn't intend to do what he did, Takopi landed well too as this annoying octopi that doesn't know how human emotions work. So what did it do wrong?
Shizuka is insufferable and unlikeable right from the start to the end, her character has no positive qualities and it made me wonder why would you write a story with Marina and Shizuka if you're going to make it so cliché and are going to rely so hard on the reader feeling pity and empathy for the absurd 1% chance someone feels connected to any of the characters, 2 batsh1t insane moms and the other one being a wh0r3.
Art and atomsphere are great, but that writing and narrative are absolutely unwarranted and gets violent and absurdly bloody for no reason (as a gore reader I can see why this feels gratuitous and only made for shock value.
That's the problem here, unlikeable characters, unrealistically violent children, everyone is a psycho and that's not how life works.
I see a kid reading this and going insane because is anxiety inducing at counted times, but it does not go farther than that to make its characters real humans that aren't scumbags, and when you see through that it loses its impact and feels corny and cheesy bad people.
