That is a myth.... she's going to lose cause she's not the main heroine...

If a childhood friend is the main heroine, they usually win.... being childhood friends isn't a factor at all....

That said, she's also going to lose cause she's stupid.

Rather than trying to get the boy she loves to like her, she's giving more chances to the girl he likes...
